Hainsworth's is the very last full vertical mill producing full-size bed blankets in the UK. They buy the raw wool in bales "greasy" and manage every single process in-house, from scouring and cleaning the wool to weaving and finishing the end product. They do not outsource any of the processes. This is very efficient and ensures that there is excellent control of quality and sustainability at every stage of the process.
Hainsworth still makes the traditional woven blankets that you remember from childhood (if you are of a certain age), the ones that last for generations, literally. They provide superb thermal properties, keeping you warm in winter and cool in summer.
